How to Make Homemade Rosemary Oil for Hair Growth
If you’ve been trying to grow your hair for a while now, I’m sure you hopped on the ricewater trend (which works amazing for some people, but can cause protein overload and damage for others). Rosemary oil is a lot less harsh on your hair and scalp, and is actually scientifically PROVEN to work as well as, if not better than Rogaine for hair regrowth!
Use this simple homemade rosemary oil by massaging it into your scalp a few hours or the night before you shower. I am in LOVE with how it’s been working for me, but make sure to be consistent with it and give it a good 3-6 months before expecting to see crazy results (though I promise you will!)
Homemade Rosemary Oil for Hair Growth
What You Need:
A small glass jar with lid
A tbsp of dried rosemary (you can use fresh, but dried’s easier to store!)
Olive oil (or other carrier oil)
How to Make:
Put that 1 tbsp of dried rosemary in your jar
Fill the rest of the jar with your oil
Let that bad boy sit in a sunny spot for 2 weeks completely untouched
Then use it as a nice hair oil to massage into your scalp a few hours before shampooing!
Rosemary water is great for hair growth, but rosemary OIL is my #1 hair growth tip. I started using rosemary oil well before I ever touched rosemary water and that is when I started noticing my hair growing back in around my temples. Only then did I delve into rosemary water, knowing that rosemary was the magic ingredient for me and my hair regrowth! Try this oil recipe if you’re feeling crafty, or if you don’t want to put in the effort, you can mix any pure rosemary essential oil with a carrier oil (I prefer castor oil when doing this method!)
